In this paper, the applicability of Lean
in semiconductor manufacturing is investigated.
Part I (published in FEO vol. 3) addressed
the matter of a fundamental premise of Lean:
balanced production lines. In this second part
of the paper, the appropriateness of CANDO
is examined and the employment of the
Waddington Analysis is discussed.
